Update notes: May 26, 2020
We’ve also begun implementing our first improvements to the new player experience. We’re adding loading screen tips to educate players on some of the less obvious aspects of Crucible, making event timers always visible in detect mode regardless of distance, and adding tooltips to the loadout menu to better explain Essence and upgrades.
In addition to those quality-of-life changes, we’ve hunted down some server crashes and a client crash plus some other bugs that affected connectivity and stability.
We’re continuing to work on performance as a high priority, and you’ll see progress on that front in future builds. In the meantime, NVIDIA just released some optimization improvements for Crucible with their latest Game Ready drivers—we highly recommend you check them out.
We’ll continue to push these builds out at a pace that allows us to make sure we’re putting in quality changes that are only making the Crucible experience better and better. We’ll start talking about the contents of our next build as soon as we’re confident of what’s going to be in it.
As always, we want to thank everyone who’s part of this community.
We’ll see you in-game!
